The average temperature varies between 15 degrees in December and January up to 30 degrees in August, when it is at its warmest during the day. At night, the average temperature is seven degrees during the winter months, while it goes up to 19 degrees when it is at its coolest in August. In the sea it is coldest in February and March, with an average of 15 degrees and the average in August is 23 degrees.

Supermarket chains such as Mercadona and Carrefour as well as small supermarkets are available nearby. The Cercanía regional train runs between Malaga city centre and Fuengirola, thus covering many nice resorts along the sunshine coast, but also providing a convenient way to get to the airport quickly.
